I really, really, really like slag. Why? It hits multiple targets and can reduce damage by 10%. Secondly, its high chance to panic along with additional AOE damage is very effective in elites and can buy your team the few seconds they need to pot if you're in a jiffy. Also, the happiness bonus isn't that bad at all! Lastly, the best part about it is that it is even good in PvP.
Abaddon is great as well & it is an utter beast to consider as a leveling pet.

Slag. Don't let the good looks of Scorch fool u! The shield isn't 100% absorb and it's a damage reduction only, lack of hp and he doesn't stun. Also shield lasts only 8 instead of the stated 10 sec, but in elite or normal big mobs it's more like instant off. One of the worst mythic pets out of them all. Might be better if it actually worked as originally stated by devs but they haven't responded to our feedback. Also it seems like it only hits one target and not multi. Mine is 35 and as it is, not recommended. All I use it for now is running speed and mana Regen for Brackenridge. Abaddon is probably second to slag. Grimm looks good on paper and in game, but the lack of a reliable panic makes slag the clear choice.

Yes like everyone above, I like slag the most. But here are some reasons why I like the other mythic pets as well:
Slag: Neat AOE. I love it. Most recommended for those who only have money or plan for just one mythic pet. (#1!)
Abaddon: Speed Boost, Armor Reduction (good for bosses), good widespread AOE w/ DOT.
Scorch: Cute (haha) hopefully the Sheild thing will improve in later updates, let's wait and see!
Grimm: Meh, least important pet, probably just stun and instakill
Ripmaw: nah.

I like Abaddon in fact because he is awesome. This is actually really biased because Abaddon is the only mythic pet I have :P

Maybe everyone should state their favorite class to use Slag or Abaddon with as well.. I'm mainly a rogue and the only mythic pet I have is Slag for pve and I love it. Definitely getting one for my girls' warrior, pve only as well...
