We are definitely not one of the largest guilds. Typically, we provide a home for approximately 250-300 capped or cap-1 players, though many in that count are capped alts, so the real life headcount is probably more like 100-125.



With that said, what follows is a shameless infomercial...

Many players who are new to elite runs join our guild to improve their skills. Others join because they are looking for consistent elite parties, which we provide in spades. Whatever the case may be, there are many members who are extremely proficient at running elites, and share their strategies, builds and thoughts, keeping our members engaged, and most importantly, farming elites.

Unlike many other guilds, our player turnover is extremely low, thanks in large part to our core members who keep things active. Our foundation is built upon making our members better elite runners, so we tailor pulls and strategies according to our party make up. Overall, the bulk of our turnover comes from those who are interested in earning PvP Achivements, as we do not focus on PvP. Some leave, many eventually return when they have reached their PvP goal.

As a group, I am happy to say that we are extremely collaborative. Members who get Reroll from Klaas or Shaz announce in /g "Got Reroll, any runs?", which typically takes priority over PUG runs, strategy sessions, research, or just plain hanging out in town.

We don't do much (if anything) in the way of recruiting and basically rely on reputation and word-of-mouth to drive up headcount. Because we spend so much time training and developing our members, the preference is to keep the guild smallish, so we can dedicate the resources needed for proper training.

We do a lot to foster a sense of community within our guild. We have a Line group for chats (and sticker spam), we host occasional contests (see our Winter WondeRun thread), we share/gift a lot of loot to those in need, and we are always trying to fill in those missing APs for our members.

We may not be large, but every member counts and every one is important.

While I don't condone this particular approach, here is what is possible with the right tactic and one plat:

As you may guess, this strategy is to clear the first two rooms, then proceed directly to Inan. You will have a lot of mobs following, so allow them to kill you. When they do, the mobs will reset, leaving you alone with Inanhesh. After a one platinum revive, you can go 1v1 for the fastest time.

It's an ugly, low-tech way to do it, but it's hard to argue with the result.

Yes. But it depends on what class you are. We prioritize capped players more but rogues are an exception. We don't have as much rogues than sorcs and warriors so we evaluate each player by making a recruitment run. Also, have you been productive with the current double exp weekend? If you are not lvl 36 yet, i would recommend to nake the most out of the double exp weekend and you might be able to cap your toon. He is both a pro and a legend. i haven't even met him and played with him in game though.. He "left" the game when i joined ER so i wasn't able to see him. I caught him online in the past few weeks but he was about to go offline when i went on. Lol. I am very unlucky. I wish i can meet and run with him in the upcoming expansion.

Btw, I think we recruite lvl cap-1 too. If you havent capped at the double xp weekend, I think its OK. We shouldnt force him to cap when the expansion is very near because the xp he earned may be used to get to 40. At the time he can do farming runs for extra profit

Btw I have a rogue (lvl 29 near 30) ign itshim. I hosted a small guild too named <family and friends>, about 190 members but not very active because most of them are low lvl who might not play anymore. Im going to post a guild thread and clean the guild once I got to lvl cap on her or win a weekend contest for the plat for guild hall, but the guild hall seems far because theres no weekend contest for about a month from now Btw hope you guys good luck

Chart on the first page updated. I am happy to announce that we placed 60th, which is the best result in the history of Elite Runners guild

I would like to thank all our members for the hard work in this season, which is coming to an end, and so is this thread, because most probably we will start a new one soon and this one will be closed.

Thank you for keeping our guild friendly, free of dramas, scams, thefts, trash talk and in general thank you for good representation of our small community.

When 6 months ago dramas, greediness and selfishness made our guild explode, I did not believe it would be possible to build it up to such a great place of fun and trust.

I highly value every member, but still there are few names that I want to mention. (Sorry for anybody who is not mentioned here, no harm intended)


MJ (Myungji), without your dedication (and Staff ) this would never be possible.

Kali (Kalizzaa), if you had not said "Why not build the guild again?" we would probably lose hope on that dark Thursday. You were the impulse to rebuild.

Goi (Dragon), thank you for endless runs and help to our members. Many would leave frustrated if you did not provide help and time.

Kama, even if in pink gear for a long time, thank you for doing the hardest runs with our members. Thanks for never giving up.

Emily, Mike, Eba, and all Elite Runners that re-joined - thank you for your trust, dedication and huge contribution during build-up phase.
