the 1k is at my friend's pocket and your pocket because 48,50+48,50=97k so to reach 49k as you said you have to add 500gold and 500gold to both of your friends so that 1k is not solid but seperated in 2
The format of the question is flawed.
As some other stated, the way its laid out is incorrect.
97k + 3k = 50k + 50k
97k + 1k = 49k + 49k
if you want to add 1k to the right side, you need to add it to the left side also.
97k + 1k + (1k) = 49k + 49k + (1k)

This is a classic logical misdirection strategy used by magicians and scam artists.
The point here is that the OP wants you to focus on the fact that 49+49+1 = 99 and not 100. This misdirects you from the fact that in this equation, the item purchased with the loans is not present and the numbers are not showing up in the correct side of the ledger.
The correct equation in this game is actually:
97k (vanity) + 1k (your pocket) + 1k (friend 1 pocket) + 1k (friend 2 pocket) = 50k (loaned by friend 1) + 50k (loaned by friend 2)
Misrepresenting the above formula is where the misdirection is happening because what the OP is trying to convince you of is that:
100 <> (50 - 1) + (50 - 1) + 1
This example puts the credits and debits in the wrong locations which is why this proof fails. A double ledger system only works if the correct numbers show up on the correct side of the ledger...

Red arlor cap : 97k
U borrowed : 100k
U returned : 2k , U owe 49 (x2) , U have 1k (pocket) = 1k is in the red arlor cap
100k (u borrowed from samhayne + remiem) - 97k (red arlor cap) - 2k (u returned) - 1k (pocket) = 0k
Now you have a red arlor cap + 1k in your pocket, = 98k (because u returned 2k)
And you owe 49k x 2 = 98k
There's no 1k, the 1k is either in the debt of remiem + samhayne or its in the red arlor cap.
- 97k/2 = 48.5K
- 48.5 + 1K = 49.5K(of each one)
- 49.5 x 2 = 99K
- 99k + 1k (on your pocket) = 100k
Here is the answer
they put 49.5k each one, no only 49.
The real "problem" is on how u did the math problem question

If u must insist the 1k is there, the other 1k is either with samhayne or remiem.
man can't you give us at least a hint
1k is between the and ?
lol
The place (1k) is at: Nowhere
Ign : Gave
the 1k was used to buy the vanity because all of the 3k are mentioned to be given 1st was given to remiem second was given to samhayne and you mention that the last one is in my pocket. So that leave us with the actual cost of the vanity that is 97k. If this is wrong too I am going to hit a wall HARD :P
(49k)+(49k)+1k on my pocket
(1k given)+(1k given)
this make a total of 3k so that 1k was probably used to buy the vanity so that 1k is in AUCTION

CONGRATULATIONS!!!!
Now guys, first of all "I made a trick on that question"
There is no need for an expanded formula for this... well, u may do your own formula, but it will not answer the question "WHERE"
There is no sense of adding both of the 49k coz I owe them to a DIFFERENT individual...
Now, my question is WHERE is the 1k?
Think about it carefully and it will come up to the idea that its already in the AUCTION!!!
BTW!!! Don't lose hope here's much easier 1!!! and much more prizes to be given away!!! -->http://www.spacetimestudios.com/show...in-quot-JESTER
