I knew this would happen. The thing is, this is an mmo and players are "used" to having all the gear revealed so that they can plan how they will play that season. However, it's like Windows 8 and it's missing the "Start" menu which pissed a lot of people off and helped drive more people towards the iOS and Android operating systems.

There are many reasons why players aren't online and why this season or you can say this game might be slowly dieing...

What STS has done is kept players in the dark so players don't know to go about this season. For example, the gear they have revealed such as magma is indeed better than tarloks however, they are sold at ridiculous prices or require a ton of dragon teeth and dev/moderators have revealed that better gear is going to be added later in the season. So why then, would players want to burn their hard earned gold on "soon-to-be-phased-out" gear? Not only that but 36 Mythics are cheaper and are quite close if not better than these Magma.

These dragon tooth, I don't know about you guys, but the drop rate on the dragons tooth is not fun. You can farm for three or more hours and loot only one tooth. It was a lot more fun when it was "double rate" which in my opinion should be the normal rate; it still wasn't guaranteed but at least they appeared within an hour or a few runs.

Elite Tindirin is "Trololol." The difficulty/damage isn't the problem, it's the gear. Players wearing mythics/arcanes are still getting owned as if they are wearing "Ripped Shirts". They can still be "one-shot" and most players are forced to use elixirs and platinum resurrects just to play an elite map. Yes, we understand we aren't forced to play elites so players don't. If not for elites, which require teamwork and is the best time to bond with other players, then what do they do? Farm teeth? nope, farm locks? nope, talk? yep, pvp? sometimes, most don't, basically, it's very limited and then people get bored and slowly but surely begin to be less and less online or find other games to play. Since players have been kept in the dark, most players, including myself are waiting for the release of gear that will make elite tindirin balanced. They will wait it out and while waiting, will probably play another game which could mean a "lost" or "quit" player. I myself, found that I don't really care anymore. The only thing keeping me around is good friends that still play the game. If you can't make them stay, then I won't stay. It's very simple.

Here is a example of gear this season. Dragon scale armor for warriors has the stats 22 str and 44 int. Who is putting the stats on these gears? Are you serious? A warrior with 44 int? Look if you guys wanted to "troll" the community and it really is actually just a vanity, why don't you just sell it was a vanity in the store for platinum?

When dragon bars were worth 20-25m, teeth was relevant and was a great way to make millions without the need of a leprechaun or platinum. Now, it is worth 1-2m and is not worth all that hassle (drop rates).

There are too many "old" people that play this game. Almost all players or guilds I come across don't know how to have fun because their "kids" play the game. I can understand that but it is "boring". Not only that, but their "old" mentality limits and dumbs down the game to that of a simple online stock market-like mmo with some warriors, rogues and mages just so it looks and feels like it isn't, at least at first. Yes I'm talking about you old gamers who can afford to sit down and play the game all day, like to control the economy and manipulate the updates of the game via discussion, suggestions and private messages in the forums or in game to moderators. Your old. Stop killing the game.

Perhaps, the game is dieing because of how ridiculous the game prices are for platinum. To be honest, I would never spend money on an mmo this expensive. A leprechaun pendant is 150 platinum which is $20. So twenty dollars for 15% luck rate? Why didn't you make it 20% instead, it would have been more reasonable. That's not really a big issue since twenty dollars for an item that will pay for itself in the long run is right on the edge of reasonable in my opinion however, that's the limit on how much I would spend on an online game. Slag is worth 250 platinum or should I say Slag is worth $50. Is he worth it now? Fifty dollars for a pet fire gorilla is insane. Yes it's versatile and can be used in pve and pvp but fifty dollars? Twenty dollars maximum maybe but fifty, nope. Scorch, I feel sorry for the players; so unlucky or "trolled". Now the locked crates. The biggest problem and probably the only reason to spend some money on this game even though they know the "trololol" odds. Each lock requires 15 platinum which is $3. Everyone knows you have to open 100+ just to get "something" and that's $300 down the drain if you don't manage to get anything even worth $300 in game. Not only that but $3 is the cost of a real meal such as a burger. Yes some players have the money but to most players; "Not in this economy".

The only reason why I even played Arcane Legends was because it was a simple mmo. Easy to endgame (not require millions of exp just to level up), easy but flawed interface (some options have no confirmation box) I can deal with that and I thought everything was clear but instead, we are kept in the dark (especially how the re-roll works, even casinos and the lottery reveal the odds), it's trying to be hardcore and even basic things like gear is being done wrong. I think I'm playing Arcane Troll Legends or something or wait, I'm not playing, not even online until I see things fixed.
