Elite Runs Event


Dates

April 7 - April 21, 2014 - contest will end at noon Pacific time on the 21st.


About Event:

Time for some Elite Run fun! Party up with your guildmates to run Nordr, Shuyal, and Tindrin elites. Each map is worth a set amount of points (displayed below) the three players with the highest amount of points at the end of two weeks will win some amazing prizes!


Points:

Points are based on the current pure leaderboard times (with a couple of minor adjustments to reflect difficulty / time properly)

Elite Nordr
Jurn Woods - 8 points
Mount Spyr - 18 points
Oltgar Keep - 4 points
Crystal Caverns - 7 points
Hall of Valheim - 22 points

Elite Shuyal
Shadow Plains - 18 points
Forest Breach - 13 points
Forest of Shades - 16 points
Undim Fields - 9 points
Ashral Tower - 11 points

Elite Tindrin
The Wilds - 10 points
Jagged Trail - 11 points
Magma Corridor - 17 points
Caves of Tarewa - 17 points
Rockhorn Summit - 12 points


How to Enter:
• You must be a Pheonix guild member

• You must have a pheonixguild.com forum account. If you can read this, you meet that requirement.

•You must take a screenshot of your final completed time after each elite run and post it on the forum.

• Please only use one post and edit that post to add your screenshots to make scoring easier at the end of the event. (See Screenshot below for an example)

• Please make sure to include your IGN AND the Name of the Map with the screenshot (preferably in it) so we can judge the event properly.

• All screenshots must be in BEFORE noon Pacific Time on April 21st to count towards your overall points.


Other notes:

• Must be a member of Pheonix Guild

• You can run with a random group it does not have to be an all guild members run for the screenshot to count.



Prizes:

Get ready to have your socks blown off...

• First place: 1 million in gold

• Second place: Shadowlurk Egg

• Third place: 25 Locked Crates

• Participation: Some amount of crates tbd.

Prizes may be altered/increased (but not have a negative impact)

Awesome idea! Let me talk to my officers, maybe we can expand this to a cross guild contest.

I'm thinking we could play this one out till Monday, then start a new round next week as a dual event with Elite Runners. Either that or join up and run this for another 2. Either way would work, but this weekend is a bit chaotic. I'm stuck working and Rav's away for a few days, so we're a bit shorthanded for announcement purposes.
