I met him today!

I have heard rumor about a mini-boss at the final map (elite) which drops archon rings but I have never met one before today.

Today I met him finally! I now post a SS of him in case you haven't met him. He is very weak compared with elite mobs. We killed him within 10 hits. At the end, one of my guildies looted an archon ring of potency!

Ive seen them spawn in normal, I got two in one map once (the little green whelp and the il'loran). Although i don't think they drop anything else but teeth in normals...

Belru is the whelp mini boss. Not sure what loot they can drop. I've never met the serpeant/salamander boss. If there is one then there would be 3 different types mini bosses in Rockhorn. Also I encountered a komodo boss named belus or delus. So really I suppose there are more than 3.

Yes but I don't know about what loot he drops. He didn't drop anything when I ran into him.

I think the elite zone mini bosses probably have the same chance to drop archon as other elite mobs. Certainly they are not the only ones who drop rings, because I got one from a regular elite mob there.

The normal map versions can drop teeth, but I have no idea what else.

There are multiple mini bosses. This is one of what is rumoed to be three.
