Yes, after realizing how much plat it costs to compete in the last event, I'd love to buy some more plat for the next event, but I always wait until there is a sale. So now could be a good time to have such a sale. It would encourage some of us to spend more during the new event.

The fix client, version 1.1.0.2, is propagating out through Google Play and iTunes. It is already up on Chrome.
