Dagger vs. Bow

What are the pro/cons of using a dagger or bow?
I just decided to start a new thread for this.

The more specific question is
is it better to have a swampy shiv of eagle and a frosty snowbird wing eagle equipped, or a sniper bayou xbow.

Against froggy the bow is better. Why would you want to be where she can bomb you, I kill her through my clan from across the room.

As far as pvp, the added armor might make all the difference. We'll see how much damage we can do to each other. I'll know if I speced right after the first time I get hit.
