Which set do your prefer and why.

So I have 32lv pvp mage and I cant decide what set to use. So first set is mythic set and second is druid brutality set. Both stats are taken with slag.
Myth gives +13dmg +3% crit, and shield hp 2460.
Druid gives +270hp +100armor and shield hP 2768

The armor and health buff far outweighs the damage loss. At level 41 I use both Ancient Druid of Security and Upgraded mythic. The Druid gear reduces pot use in increases surviveability. The dmg reduction is sizable but doesn't seem to slow runs much. In pvp I still get one hit with the Druid gear so I stick with mythic for damage. Non-upgraded mythic was never anything special to start with.

Exactly, anytime you are facing insta-deaths you might as well go mythic for damage which is why I like having the choice between the two. In tombs I find that the Druid gear allows me to be a lot more bold and the extra offense results in runs being just as fast or faster than needing to kite or hide behind the tank because I am fragile.

For the OP though there is no question that the Druid gear is the way to go, especially at the price it is.

Al is right. Druid helm + mythic armor would be most ideal.

If I were you id take advantage of the crit and the extra damage myth offers. Why go for druid? You'll die in just a matter of seconds anyway. Mages are squishy and they're not even worthy of being called a mage in this game. When you talk about damage they don't even have the upper hand. Only good about us is crowd control or CC and aoe damage. PvP wise? Not even worth discussing. Lol.

But if it were me, I would go full mythic set. You can always make up for the HP loss by spec'ing str points but you can't make up for the dmg bonus mythic offers you. Just food for thought.
