Because the Ursoth's Assault event is over and elocks that are in circulation are only leftovers. They have special things in them - mythic weapons, so why would they put new items in there that came after those crates were done?

Totally agree. Why is should the only people who succeed in this game be the ones who sit in town and don't even do runs? Why can't we be rewarded for running elites? We should have as much of a chance to get arcane items as the lock poppers, if we are willing to put in time and energy to actually play the damn game.
Edit: And this doesn't mean putting a miniscule chance of one in a gold chest that drops once every 30 runs.

Not sure what we "normal" players are suppose to do at end game.. eh nothing just like now. I thought the WHOLE point of adding this pet was to give everyone something to do in PVE .. not just the top 10% players.
I am not going to start a grind, get all the ingredients and just let them sit there bc I don't have the arcane component.. that's just a waste of time. And not fun BTW "YAY! I have everything I need.. O wait I need the fossil it's 50m.. sigh." hangs head in defeat.

Just a suggestion.... What about having a decent mythic pet that can have like the same recipe, minus the fossil, but on a couple maps...not easy to farm but not too difficult either , and when you finish you can craft it together to create a good pet, arcane may be pushing it, but we should at least get mythic pets without having to open lockeds or have plat.

LOL I don't see any difference from having singe as the component to arcane fossils but now arcane fossil is just gonna be another arcane shard. These people who complain about singe just made this pet more impossible to get since singe has been around and more available than arcane fossils

Why you guys are disappointed? I could tell you one week ago it will be something in locks that you need to get this pet. Never expect an arcane item to be hard or easy to get if you don't spend plats for it.
