I think you can redeem your prize in another npc and he/she will give you a vanity that only winners of the lottery can get and it should be non- tradable. The npc should be located in all towns so it will not be hard to find for newbies. This should be drawn everyday.

For me 100k is enough, even though the price is not that high....., let say im a newbie then i won the lottery and I am able to save at least 60k and I bought lepre and start hunting...... It would be a great help for a newbie..Even for us, 100k is not that easy to get, an instant 100k is really good.

Maybe we should also have this lottery for platiniums maybe 30k for a chance of 30 platiniums because most player don't have any idea about the forum weekly raffle for 30 platiniums why not put it in the game eh? (This is weekly)

The gold-sink vanity is nice and i hope they make new types of it and make the one we have now discontinued, but the lottery ticket thing is something even i would do with my extra gold, and im very cheap.

I like the idea but not so much the gold prize as it kind of removes the gold sink aspect ( even though it does take out a lot of gold) maybe like some suggested a unique vanity or a new luck pendant say 25% reroll chance. Id increase the buy-in to 10-20k and make it so you can purchase upto 100 tickets, that would really take the gold from the uber rich

This lottery could be a great idea. Maybe make the payout half of the amount that is spent playing it. So 1000 characters buy a ticket at 5k a piece. That is a total investment of 5mil. That draw pays out 2.5mil to the winner. I think a weekly draw would be more than enough. This acts as a gold sink and I think it would be greatly affective. I know I would play every week.

I also like the idea of a monthly draw for an arcane item. These tickets need to cost atleast 50k. This is a 100% gold sink. It offers a great reward but all gold spent on this draw is removed from the economy. I feel this would remove a vast amount of gold each month and who doesn't want a chance at an arcane item. It gives free players an actual chance at getting one. As it stands right now a free player has very little chance of obtaining an arcane item.

But i think the jackpot has to be higher.
Otherwise, not many players will play the lottery cause why spending 5k when the chance of hitting the jackpot is very rare and the price is not worth it.

If the prize was merely a small gold prize, a lot of people wouldn't participate in it, for example a 100k /500k prize has no interest to me, might do it once, but not exactly interested, if there was exclusive vanitys rotated this would be more of an attraction, just a suggestion.

I like this idea. STS should just mirror US States' lottos, but without the tax - 50% of entries go to winner. They could have a "Mega-Millions" type counter showing the size of the pot. I also like the idea of implementing multiple lottiers - daily, weekly, monthly, etc.

STS can make special weekends known as 'SUPER JACKPOT weekend'
On this special weekend the lottery prize is greatly increased depending on HOW many people enter.
Only on this weekend if one person enters the lottery payout increases by 2.5k.
So if 500 people enter, that's an extra 1.25mil to the payout. Ticket price says the same.
This is a special event weekend.

Go to any town. Find the lottery NPC (Name hasn't been decided)
Purchase a ticket from him. And wait to see if you've won after 24 hours. If you've won you'll be notified on your alerts and you can go claim your prize from him.

NORMAL LOTTERY SYSTEM:
This is where you pay 5k to enter and the prize is 100k. This lottery happens once a day and lasts 24 hours so everyone can enter. You also win the lottery exlcusive vanity which is tradable.

SUPER JACKPOT WEEKEND:
This is a special weekend event. (Doesn't happen every weekend)
For every person that enters the jackpot is increased by 2.5k.
Ticket price stays the same.


MYTHIC LOTTERY:
This happens once a month. Costs 50k to enter so people don't abuse it by making loads of accounts. You have a chance to win ANY MYTHIC EGG. You also win the vanity. No gold is included in the payout so its a PURE gold sink.

ARCANE LOTTERY:
This also happens once every month. It costs 100k to enter. You have a chance to win ANY ARCANE EGG. As this happens 12 times a year, And there are 6 arcane eggs. Each month has a SPECIFIC egg that will be up for grabs and it will go in the order in which they released. Etc. First month hammerjaw then glacian then samael.
This is so that the same egg isn't given away twice (Which can happen if its a random egg). You also win the exclusive lottery vanity. This is also a PURE gold sink.

Lets face it, Arcane legends is already a gambling game of sorts
Every time you open any chest at all be it locked crate, elite golden or even a lowly copper chest
You are essentially taking a roll of the dice

This idea fits perfectly with this game, and the potential rewards that sts could gain by implementing this is huge
What rewards would sts gain? Players interest whether it is existing players or new players it wouldnt matter
because more people interested in the game translates to more money being spent in game

+1 to get 100k jackpot you need ticket worth of 10k or 500k jackpot ticket worth of 50k and so on....i also like the idea that you can only do this 2-3x a day so people wont just depend their 100% luck on the lottery...this is nice
