I've been playing for nearly a month now, and Ellie never told me I could buy pots in bulk from her (100 pots in the Plat shop costs 2800 gold).

I was exploring all the different shops because I was bored and just found this out today...sigh.

Learned it my second day playing...but seriously, it's not like you needed to save money... I spent over half of mine on pots... I feel so smart right now.

ohhh i found Ellie the first day I played, its only yesterday I realise that I can buy it from the platinum store lol! she is the one i visited the most throughout my game. But you are rich anyway! lol! I can hardly save 100k.

I remember that I never understood why people were always asking others for pots mid-game. I always bought from the plat store, and didn't understand why anyone would run out of pots when you can buy them anytime and anywhere.

Then I learned about Ellie. Man so much gold wasted.
I do think, though, that people need to be less stingy with their gold if they're in middle of a dungeon and run out of pots. Spend a little extra and then go stock up on the cheaper ones after. I find it a bit annoying when everything has to stop because someone forgot to stock up and won't pay the extra cash one time.

yea seems really good for emergency time, I ever stop halfway to pass potion and mana to another player when I was in AO2. I would have ask him to buy from the plat store if I found out earlier~ lol

+1...ppl leaving in the middle of the caves or saying "brb, need to buy pots"... The caves are already long enough to go through.
For Ellie, I found out with my second char when I checked out the NPS in Forest Heaven for quests. With my first one, I noticed I could use health/mana pots when I was lv25 or so...=lots of deaths but didn't spend much money :-)

Nice, I never noticed this. I think when I was checking out Forest Harem as a low level I wouldn't have imagined buying in such bulk, then always bought from the plat store.

Now I farm them as much as possible, but I'll buy if I'm on a map and run out. I find my elf has to work hard to support the bird's potion habit.
