Mythic armor upgrade failed....

Ok so hello arlorians!!

I have got a sweet friend that told me a girl she knows has got a problem. She did the quest to upgrade the mythic armor but armor didn't got upgraded. I know she needs to do it with the armor equipped and when I asked her if she did and she told that no. What happens now? She can't upgrade the armor again anymore or what?

If you have the armor in crafting the quest won't complete. She might have to abandon the quest and do again.
