"An Error Occured"

Whats this messege??

I was collecting gold from my sold items on the CS and that messege came up a couple of times...My game was lagging pretty bad (Lag has been crazy bad lately and my toon just moves around all by hisself) and the game would freeze everytime I clicked on a sold item..My question is...Do I still get the gold from my item when this messege comes up.

This happened to me also when I was lagging,
It happens coz, when u click to get ur gold it doesnt grants immediately since u r lagging, so u again press(if i am not wrong) so that u get ur gold, and this is the 2nd time u request to get the same gold, so when actually its processed after ur lag is over, its like 2 times same command, so it grants gold for the 1st command, and for 2nd time command it gives this error as u have already got its gold. I hope this is easy to understand.
