    I just hope the crown is no-trade. It is the crown of persistence, not the crown of I-spent-so-much-gold. I also hope that if you make other levels of it in the future, that they'll look different so people can tell them apart. That way getting the 56 crown now makes those people feel special, and its not something that could just be bought from someone else.

    So its confirmed then, the Crown of Persistence will be a vanity item at most. Since it will be moved from 56 to 61. So 56 is really just for the showing off rather than the advantage (well slight from 5 stats 1 skill point).

    In a way, good then. Alts to 56 aren't a MUST. :P

    Gotta say this is a cool idea to keep the level 55 folks going until the next cap raise. And for the people who can't hang, they get the option to wait it out, with the only loss being no fancy crown.

    83840 xp, i did some sloppy math, that's like double all the original XP listed for 1-50 combined... If you can do that you DESERVE a crown!!!

    I'm gonna try, but not kill myself over it since I'm a bit more casual (just a bit)... i suppose the higher level mobs give more XP though, so it shouldn't really take twice the time as it took me to level from 1-50?

    Lol I doubt I would ever get my bear to 84k xp -- unless bears get a huge overhaul.

    Nah, I think the mobs should give the same XP.

    Any devs comment on Yanis's (and my) idea of bosses giving more xp than simple mobs? Basing xp off of fiddiculy err WTF difficulty lol.

    What about XP bonus for Bosses, should be a nice little exp dose when you down a boss -). Also, harder Bosses should give more exp too.

    On the first question, I think the same logic would apply. Someone who is at level 55 and is 50% of the way to 56 would be 50% of the way even when the levels normalize:

    I think it's key to remember that they don't store any fixed number of xp in the database. That's pretty clever really, as it lets them adjust the curve at any time without changing what level anybody is.

    i dont know why some are complaining about the 56 curve even if u dont play as much. stop camping in shoppe, stop begging in town and youll be 56 in no time.

    First of all, AWESOME!!! I love the idea of 56! However, I think it shout be the Ring of Persistence. My reasoning behind this is because most head pieces (assuming a crown is a head piece) complete sets for set bonuses. I would hope that once you reach 56 that you would still be able to keep your set bonuses from the top end gear. If it were a ring, it wouldn't have to be part of a set and to make it noticeable, it could have some affect that gives a visible aura. That way you can tell you are wearing it. And for those in the business of spending platinum on vanity items, the aura's color could be changed for one or two platinum. I dunno, that's just my two cents on that. I think its more reasonable then getting rid of a set bonus.

    And as for bear combos... I think that the combo should be taunt + beckon. That way the mobs are not disbursed and every bear (mostly tanks) will start off an encounter with the right abilities. This may even get rid of some of the "noob" tanks. And instead of doing additional damage like most combos, this combo should generate addition threat, hate, agro, whatever its called in pl lol. I know with my tank, the hardest part about gaining threat is the beginning of an encounter because the good players are opening with combos and generating more threat themselves. I just feel like this combo, if it generates additional threat, would improve party productivity and in the long run, reduce flaming and boots, and even give bears a better name.
