I wonder how to obtain the ancient planar reciepe. Does it drop? If so, which boss/map. Can it be looted from chests?
Also, how can arcane fossil be looted?
These questions might sound nooby, but i never have a precise answer.

Recipe in arena and fossil in locks and possibly arena as well.

Arena drops recipe (very rare) on the 4th boss. Fossil can be found inside locked crates and arena chests (also very rare). No the recipe can not be found in arena chests

Recipe might drop on the last boss of arena! It doesn't drop from arena chest though! Like the eyes used to drop from Syrillax, no actually drops, just it says on Chat that you got and eye, same way with the recipe in the last boss of arena!!

The drop rate is very low.
I have run arena so many times. Ran so many times before but lately I ran 100 times in last 3 days and got none and the friend I ran with he got the recipe. Now he is a proud owner of the amulet. Iam still trying. Good luck to you.
