I had the same problem the last time the test server was out. What sts does is when they send out the test server dl they copy the exact data that is linked to the game upon announcement and any changes that occur after will not effect the test server. So if you were unable to remember your password, like I was last time, then you will not be able to enter the test server with your normal password. Hope this helps.
