Okay I made a mistake so what that's why I said If I'm not mistaken.

You do need a recipe to craft nekro. Quest is from the alchemist. Get the three parchments, pay some gold and receive recipe. Then you can craft nekro with fossil and 10 vials.

Sell for 40+m and get ur char fully gear but arcane ring.

I would sell fossil or craft to nekro then sell that.
You'll be able to get the best gear for your Mage? (I'm guessing) frost/elon gun. If you already have myth helm/armour keep that don't bother getting imbued set and just buy a good arcane pet like singe. I know of some mages that love singe. Then save the rest of the money till next expansion.
That's what I'd do anyway but it's completely up to you. If you prefer pvp craft and open nekro if you prefer pve do what I suggested above.

just to be devil's advocate : craft nekro & keep it so u can farm all those snobs in pvp haha..seriously nekro is best pet in game and would no doubt be a great asset in tough elites.
