Does anyone else think this event is way to short?

Free Portals:
Assuming you get 10 free portals in a week and re-skinned glob boss 10 x 26 = (260 tokens)

1 energy (5 plats/ 12-15k ) get you an average 10 tokens

Free energy
3 free energies to start with and 6 x 3 energies every day = 21 free energies (210 tokens). *

Farmed energy
farm and craft 5 every 2 hours x 7 days = 35 free energies (350 tokens) **


Total tokens from free energy = 260 + 210 + 350 = 820

What you may need to buy: 1500 - 820 = 680 tokens = 68 energy

For 680 energies you would need 68 tokens = 340 Plats or 986000 (energy bought @14500 per piece)

Nightshade is a pet worth more than 1m, if you could farm for energies for 4 hours and craft 10/ day, the gold you spend would be halved. Also thanks to STS for this event which has something for everyone - p2p, f2p, twinks and end gamer.


* There are free energy drops from the event boss is quite random and hence not included in the calculation** I had lots farmed from previous event which reduced the cost of first nightshade on main to zero (excluding pots)

If you farm energies, and with help of your guildies/friends, you will get 10+ portals everyday (not in a week).
Farming 20 forged energies in a day is easy too!
basically one may not need to buy single energy if they farm.

you dont really need plat to get nightshade it took me 2 whole days without sleeping to hunt altars while farming energy then crafting. Here and there i switched to forged energy runs then back to altar hunting well good luck getting on nightshade he tops dova on dmg and health goodluck and may the force be with you getting nightshade its a very good pet but nilbog is pretty good too bye..

Yep, thanks to altars you don't have to spend as much money. Personally I didn't spend and gold at all (apart from potion money). Really don't think I could of made it without altars and forged energy!

I dont think so, I managed to get my 2 toons with nightshades within 2 and a half days without spending any golds for the energies! How did u guys run this event? O.O~
