Since it was looted in arena, and arena is an elite zone, i assume sts has listened to people, who were disappointed rerolling and looting a locked watch on elite maps.
It is a very nice thing if you ask me, remember how annoying is a locked in planar tombs.

.. this thread is about that there is 2 type of locked crate of rengol, the simple one, which is called "Locked crate of rengol" is dropping everywhere and very easy to get, the second one, called "Large Locked crate of rengol" - the diffrence is the Large suffix, plus it contains 2 loot instead of the 1 loot - is hard to find and may should be an elite loot if our theory is right.

Some times drop large and some times drop normals.. I got about 7 or 8 large and more than 60 normal

Large ones drop in elite content i guess.. i looted around 20 normal in KM3 levelling and normal maps of new expansion.... Didnt see "Large Ren'Gol Lock crates" in normal maps. Definitely on elite maps. As far as plat requirement was 5 to open on test server. Never no what they finalize on real server.

Also normal locked grand crates are replaced with normal Locked Ren'Gol Crate and are looted in old maps too (confirmed from frnds). like km3 backenridge.
