Rengol Bows nerfed??

Alright guys we can calm down now. You still have to remember not many games have such a public forum for devs to reply to yet they still take time to do so and have stated that the nerf was unintentional. There must of been some kind of.. 'Blip' but since we all now know it was a mistake, it'll hopefully get corrected.

As much as I am sick and disgusted with the complete incompetence of these so called 'devs' and their inability to release anything new without a gazillion of bugs, I am twice as sick of the usual suspects and pillars of the community. Always calling names and mocking others. Always trying to influence the 'devs' by making buff/nerf threads. Always pretending as if they speak on behalf of the community.

I get where you're coming from. I think it was an honest mistake this time, but there's no denying that there have been certain players who've had undue influence in the past, to the detriment of the game.

While Fibus did say they're looking into the cause of the dmg drop, he did not exactly say they are being fixed. I think I'll remain skeptical till they give me back my new bow, sans proc but with the dmg intact.

We did not intended to nerf the damage on the bow, just remove the effect/proc. We're going to take a look at what caused the damage nerf.

Why didn't Remiun mention in community weekly update yesterday that the effect/proc of Ren'gol bow is INTENDED to be removed?

It's not cool at all to nurf things silently...

That worries me too, but Remiem said in the chatbox that the damage will be restored.

Remiem's weekly community update yesterday in general discussion clearly stated the the shuyal bow proc (i.e. arcane patch and crit buff procs) were not intended to be on the new bows and would be removed.

Since these new bows have no proc it makes sense to me that they would have higher damage relative (based on same level comparison) to other legendary bows in the game, all of which have some sort of proc. as fibus said, they are sorting out the damage issue now.

I think the nerf was necessary. The Frost bow was just released at winter and were mocked by a 46 legendary xD

The Frost Bow was just a variation on the Elondrian Bow, which was released a year ago. It lasted its 2 seasons, so should not remain the best now.

Don't have an active rogue with the new bow, still I am sure this wasn't intended to happen. Even if it was, I can't see how it'll stay nerfed with so many protest xD no worries.
