Sam vs toor or other pet???

Hey guys!
I got a problem, i do sometimes PvP 46 for fun of course. And i did vs my friend tank. I ran out of mana:/ even with nekro.
My friend told me to use Sam if i vs other tanks cause he can give me mana. Is Sam still useful? Or maybe i should buy other pet?
I have nekro and mari. My mana is around 1200-1500 depends pet.
I know its little low but soon I'll done my planar pend.
Or maybe don't buy other pet?
Any suggestions?

Nekro has mana regen. So does samael. And samael is outdated.
Maybe bad gear, maybe bad combos, stunned venge? Lot of things. But still nekro is best pet. Dont think about buyin some other. Practice.

And isnt a vs of tanks without pets?

With watching tanks skills, and timing ur attacks, you should be able to beat him. You just need practice.

Idk man. Im using imbued set od potency ( which brings mana up a lot). Only have arcane ring and belt thats worth with that. 41 lvl terra of potency ( since im still lvling ... working on planar and frost bow. As 43, my mana is 2k with nekro. Idk hows gonna be when i reach cap and put all items on.

Brutality items give you hp, potency mana. Some rogues combine it. Cuz u gotta have some average stats in hp, dmg and mana.
