Crafting planar pendant now. I would like to know, what would be the best jewel to upgrade to PP for mage. Please I need your opinion. Thank you!

It really depends on what you gonna do wth your mage. For pure PvE mind jewels would be the best choice.Water/nature jewels would be the worst choice.
For pvp nature jewels might be ok-ish, but if u gonna lose damage for hp anyway, fury jewels are still better. They do give you a bit less hp, but they make your shield much stronger, due to how damage absorption is calculated.

To recapitulate: nature and water jewels are the worst. Never use them! Main stat jewels are probably the best option for most situations.

Tarlok Wisdom gems are still plentiful...and cheaper than most of the higher tier jewels.
Damage bonus, nice health bonus, and a good boost to your shield. Plus there is the chance of them coming out to be grand gems.

Lighting jewels are nice, though, if you're really lacking in crit.
