Here's a question: does the game feel more balanced in the CTF map or in either of the TDM maps?
I'm seeing an additional damage nerf happening in the CTF maps that I hadn't accounted for :-/
(I can keep it in there if it's more fun - or I can pull it out if you guys think it stinks.)
You are right! Looking into this further: apparently, the mechanism that keeps players in their fortresses at the outset of CTF (waiting for 3 to join) was also adding a class-specific damage adjustment... that I had planned to remove but overlooked. This is something I can easily have ready for tomorrow.
That said: it would be pretty awesome for the STS Design team if we all played both TDM and CTF maps for a while and provided an evaluation of which feels more balanced. For today / tonight (at least) CTF will have the 'old' class-specific nerfs / buffs. TDM will have none. Love to know how they compare.

The TDM and Duel Maps have no damage nerf, but the CTF map still has a damage nerf. If you could pull it out, that'd be great as that's the only way to be able to accurately test IMO.
As for how they compare, the TDM maps mean that rogues actually have a use now. However, they still don't have their armor so they have a glass cannon type of feel to them, which I am fine with. It just means that while we deal ridiculous damage, we also die within a few hits as well.
I tested with a tank friend in duel as well and he could still win against me but now, I also had a decent chance of winning against him. However, that being said, I personally prefer when damage is lowered but our armor is returned.

One more question. They do seem to need excruciating amounts of time (again) to farm. however they are also level 51. Does this mean that lvl 56 items are not even coming any time soon?

ty for the update stg! but i have to say tht 4 k tokens is alot to gamble for untradable item! i think u should just let ppl to choose what they wanna craft than a random drop cause we ar talking about hard work to gather 4 k tokens and i dont feel good to gamble with tht hard work!locks ar good to gamble but 4 k tokens no! tht my opinion at all!
If players are careful to remember and it becomes habit, yes...but there are only 250 stash slots compared to the 500 items crafting slots so many may not have the room in their stash. Sts could expand our current stash slots to include not only inventory items but a separate craftable items section in stash.
This could accommodate serious jewel farmers without compromising craftable inventory with accidental deletion since there are no liquidation options for stash.
There could be options like 'delete all water jewels' or 'delete all nature jewels'... Something a bit more specific for those who need to be extremely literal about the options.
Or...we could all just be very vigilant and heed all warnings xD
