Weaponized Durian at Glintstone Personal Arms Show
Glintstone (5/22). A prototype of durian morningstar designed by Center for Research of Unusual Source of Hurt (CRUSH) was on display at Glintstone Personal Arms Show on Sunday. The weaponized fruit proved to be quite a hit with the visitors of the exhibition.
"Durian has been quite a source of inspiration in our design," DR M. Jolnir, Director of CRUSH, told the press at the venue. "We have released durian-based grenades, projectiles, and land mines."
According to CRUSH's lead engineer Professor Sting, the challenge with the durian morningstar had been "picking fruits of suitable ripeness to ensure that they can be used multiple times before breaking open on impact."
Several visitors who had tried the weapon reported it to be satisfactory. Four subjects of such trial had been rushed to nearby hospital.
"We are grateful for the continued support of [presidential candidate] Ms Ilhanna, without whose encouragement we would have continued to be embroiled in the problems of weaponized turnips," DR Jolnir said.
