Venomous set not working properly?

I've owned the Venomous set for rogue for a while now but haven't used it a lot lately. Today I put the set on but noticed that I wasn't moving as fast as I was when I first obtained the set. I wasn't even moving faster than my party who weren't using the speed set. I only move slightly faster than when I wear my normal ring and amulet, about the speed I get from pets like Slink or Abaddon. Any clue as to why this happened?
