Buckle up folks, because today's update is PURE LOCO!!!

First up, it's time for a PLAT SALE! From now until Monday, January 9th, all platinum is on sale for 25% off. Get it while it is hawt!



As if that was not crazy enough, check this out:

New Super-Elite Items now Available!

Items

+ All items can now be traded or stashed. Yes. All. Items.
+ Reduced the amount of Dodge you get from items and item sets. Across the board, 50%.
+ Reduced the amount Hit% you get from items by 50% across the board (to balance with Dodge nerf).
+ Increased Damage statistics for 2h Elite weapons (specifically: Blaster, Staff, 2h Swords).
+ Small increase in Armor for STR-based shields (to make sense with other shield / weapon combos).

Statistics

+ Reduced the the amount that STR, DEX and INT contribute to Dodge for all Characters.
+ Reduced the amount that STR, DEX and INT contribute to Health Regeneration.
+ Reduced the total maximum amount of armor mitigation by 10%.
+ Reduced the amount of Hit Chance % contributed by STR, DEX and INT by ~30%.
+ Reduced damage output in PvP by ~12%. Reduce PvP healing effectiveness by ~7%.
+ Low-level PvP is not affected by endgame arena multipliers.

Abilities

+ Increased the amount of Armor that Warriors get from Iron Blood. Reduce cooldown timer for Iron Blood as Rank Increases.
+ Reduced the cooldown time for Mana Shield as Skill Rank increases. Cooldown for Rank 9 Mana Shield is now 20sec.
+ Increased Crit% across the board for Archers' Focus skill. Also, slight reduction in cooldown time for Focus.
+ Reduced cooldown time for Paladin Regen ability as Rank increases. Rank 9 Regen cooldown is ~24sec.
+ Reduced cooldown time of Ranger's Fury ability as Rank increases. Rank 9 Fury cooldown is ~20sec.
+ Paladin's Mark of Defense grants 2x dodge per rank and now also grants health regen.
+ Ranger's Break Armor now reduces twice as much armor on impact.
+ Ranger Poison now also reduces Mana Regeneration and Hit Chance.
+ Warrior's Taunt self-buff is now gives more dodge per rank.

New Stuff

+ Craft a new tier of super-Elite items by finding 'The Engineer' - a rare spawn in the Return of the Overlord campaign!
+ INTEX, STRAX and DEREX item recipes require MAGOR, WARAT and ARZAC pieces (among other loot items).
+ You can also farm the Return of the Warlord bosses and the Psycho Shade to loot this new family of super-Elite items!
+ Or... locate the Elite Item Vendor to direct-purchase these items (and more) with Platinum.
+ Improved audio. All sound effects, voice and music have been up-sampled.

We told you 2017 was going to be LOCO!

Really STS Amazed this time, great job (who cares for - I got this 6 years ago , discont. now can't show off day and night on cs)

There's some freaky damage stats but than global pvp DMG nerf and staff and 2h swords also getting same, cool, rest is after test.

More info on The Engineer:

Farm bosses in the endgame content. Bosses in the Return of the Overlord content have a chance (though pretty slight) to spawn 'The Engineer.'

When he spawns, you'll see him as such:


Talk to him to bring up a list of items that he'll help you craft:


STRAX, INTEX and DEREX items require a similar item from the older super-Elites group and one lesser (but again similar) item:



The guy is rare and his appearance is random... so keep after it!

So after playing a bit I think I like the update

I don't PvP so the dodge nerf isn't a huge deal for me sure I don't like that my pure mage has low hit percentage now and doesn't dodge at all but then I can use 3 piece dragon ring on all toons and that brings all sorts of stats plus sparkles but more hit% through int would be much appreciated

I don't care that people can sell stuff now if they want it's their decision if they want to keep or sell the CoP they were working hard for. All that talk about exclusivity I mean it's pixels and this is way is better than re-releasing it

What I like best is that the update draws players back and that is something we all like I think
