I haven't been in PvP in almost a year, but mages in PvE are awesome. The best party in Masoleum is 4 mages. The speed at which a party full of mages can flatten the mobs is crazy.
I guess it doesn't translate into PvP. Since I quit PvP, I've found myself much happier playing AL. I just hope STS continues to add tons of new PvE content and events as they have over the past year.
