Yeah, but it's not like they took it from you or anything. You would have been no more likely to get a pink if they were not there. Still I can understand the gear grinding.

It sucks, but in general you can't blame the player. The way people are farming, you have to jump in the game as quick as you can. You jump in with every intention of fighting, but by the time you get in, someone has already pulled Zeke out, and he is mostly dead by the time you get to it. Then before you can blink, everyone else has jumped out of the game and are on to the next 30 second farming run. While it has never happened to me, in this situation the late comer could get a pink randomly, but he is just as likely to get a white, and EVEN more likely to see he was too late and find an empty game (this has happened to me, a lot). You try to move with the herd, but damn does the herd move fast.

You know what really grinds my gears? When the hosting player kicks you just because you joined the game at the wrong moment. I join with every intention of fighting only to be kicked because they were about to kill a boss. That's extremely lame. Some people just don't understand that our chances of getting loot are complete independent of one another.

Its happened to me on both ends of your point. I've boss farmed all day and not got a single pink drop. And then i join one game and enter the game a little late and as soon as i enter they kill a boss and bamm a pink. I swear sometimes i think the less you do the better chance u have. I think DPS should be a ratio with drops. It will increase players to attack more and not just stand there and watch u.

How's this for a gear grinder. I was actually trying to play through the brawl with a couple of players (not just farming). While we were in a fierce battle in the three-boss corner, someone appeared in the game, pulled and killed le chomp, and promptly left the game (I think he had also looked and seen Zeke was dead). I couldn't believe it. I have no problem with farming, but someone shouldn't farm another's game.
