The arcane shield formula prioritizing strength stat was as of 5/7/2013. It really should be revisited.
In regards to pet AA removing curse, was Glowstik shield made as a PvE response to PvE mage curse pwning people too fast and resulting crying on forums? Which unfortunately had a negative impact on mage PvP.
