I meant make everything work to its intended level. The initiative they took with DS (but then stopped for some reason) should be applied to every gear in game.
Please STS I don't want to use DS/Immo/Flameforged for another expansion, I am so tired and bored of it. My thumbs refusing to spam old procs now.

As far as I know mage has been using flame staff/immo staff on mobs and DS on bosses for past few seasons.
If new gear is not going to surpass old gear then why even make them?
I'm pretty sure that Vroom said that there will be DS nerf before expansion (as far as they say, it didn't happened yet)
But I totally agree. Immo, flame and DS needs to get some kind of nerf or at least be less useful in new maps as their price will only rise every month due to high demand and not enough weapons around.
I'm fine if weapon is OP for 2 expansions but ffs DS came out in 46 and 71 is around the corner lol and it probably still gonna make next mythic/set/arcane weapons less useful as well.
Oh also I'm not a mage player or mage hater but that's just logical point of view.
It's actually time for those flame staffs to go bye - bye.... I've personally hated those things for some time now (LOL).........
I anticipate a degree of newness come new expansion that will force things like DS and flame staffs to be naturally replaced.......

i dont ask to have new weapons that will not surpass old one, im saying that if new wep is really good then both new and old will be useful(this way prices will probably find some balance), as for the combination im talking about the ppl who use for ex: tainted set or if want use arc66 wep than they use endless set, this is the kind of combination im talking about, this way u can have good gear for a wide range of budget.
The cost difference between old and new gear inst much, just because old weapons are over powered and it makes them in demand.
My question is why would I switch to new weapons if the old weapon procs continue to do the same damage?
If a level 46/51 weapon is still in use for level 66 content why would I chose a level 71 weapon in future?
because it will maybe have some very useful proc for new map, so maybe u will want to keep your old wep to farm mauso and buy new one for new map? idk im just guessing lol
True, gears should be nerfed to their intended levels. This means it will not impact the level 66 arcane/mythic weapons much and could be used for level 71 content. That being said, there should be notable difference between level 71 weapon and level 66 weapons, both stat and dmg wise.
lets see what they have in mind.

In my opinion they should not nerf the weapons but to make the procs effectiveness go down as the level goes up
