I'm not a fan of desert. Easy to navigate, but there are so little quests. Plus the minotaur elites are at the sandstorm area which makes it very difficult to grind 43-45. I'm level 45, with 77k exp left until 46 and no more quests. Found a friendly divine monk to grind with, good exp. I can't really solo the berserkers efficiently though.

I look forward to planting myself next to the chest (mobs don't attack) and picking off one demon at a timedid that by the rocks yesterday, worked wonders. Only got attacked a couple of times by accident bc I stood a bit too close to a spawn point.
Archer's a lot of fun once you have explosive shot and the bleeding shot

Definitely get that 1 Acute Poison. It's really good against any character that doesn't really have any form of escape. Soft ones = 225 is a bigger portion of HP lost, while tank characters = 225 pure damage, so can't be reduced.
I don't bother with the Hit % talent because at 60, the Hit from the gear I use pretty much gave me 99% Hit.
I also maxed the knockdown chance because I don't use Explosive Shot at all. This is because of the difference in my build though, I went pure crit and disregarded my attack power, so my main DPS is my RS/Snipe/Avulsion.
I had ES too, but I found it really hard to use in PvP. First, it'd AoE even non-groupped guildmates. Second, I found it really costly, especially if it didn't crit/miss/resist entirely, huge chunk of vigor wasted. Easier to resist too due to its fire attribute.
I got the 15% poison upgrade, really good IMO. 35% chance for either the Acute/Paralyzing to kick in.
For assassin side, I got the cut throat ability + silence upgrade.
It actually gives decent DOT. Combine that cutthroat + avulsion, and you'd be doing minimum 1,600 DOT, around 2,000 if the target is moving. It works wonders on mages/monks too, silences them for 6 seconds.
Then I got the Escape upgrade, 50% dodge while Escape is on. Extremely good survival skill, IMO. Perfect for warriors, and works really well against assassins/archers too. Since warriors only have one charge skill, this one pretty much allows you to kite them all the time. You can use Escape even if your knock'd down. I maxed 70% dodge when I had escape on, and warriors couldn't hit me with their Sonic and archers/assassins would miss heaps too

No, you will find a better one every 5-10 levels. Of course if it costs around 10g, go ahead. Just don't spend too much gold on something that will be replaced soon. The quest reward weapons are decent anyway.

Wait, explosive arrow misses more often bc it's fire? It isn't governed by the same hit% as everything else?

AFAIK, there's no actual resistance to physical attacks other than parry/dodge/block - but even then, I was testing on a pure guardian and pure parry/dodge/block build, it seems that ranged attacks cannot be parried/blocked

Btw, the first poison skill doesn't seem as good as the slowing one -- my bleeding shot already does 50-75 bleed. Is 25 really worth using?
Yeah the spike damage is definitely nice, I levelled up to 60 with it, it was only after a bit of testing that showed me RS > ES in DPS after a few seconds (or 2 RS equivalent) and overtime RS definitely gave more DPS. Works better with my build too since I like to crit as much as possible, so RS is usually maximised.
25 extra poison damage you mean? You can upgrade the Acute skill via spellbooks too, so it goes way more than 25 if it proc's poison. At 60 its at 225 per proc
While levelling solo, I definitely used Paralyzing on mobs. One slow proc > than one damage proc, IMO. It's really useful in PvP though, and it's only one point anyway

At level 20 something has anyone encountered the quest "Test on Zombies"?
Yea well I was doing that quest and I accidentally dropped the potion...how do I get it back?
Also before I dropped it, for some reason when I used it on the zombies (I was very up close to the zombie) this thing appeared on my screen saying "It cAnt be used in the current area"
What do I do?

Hmm not sure. Maybe try teaming with someone who hasn't done the quest yet? Or see if someone can share it with you? Last resort, try droppin it and see if you can get it again.
And you need to tap on a zombie before using the potion on him.
This is me at level 47, using all spell power gear. 200 spell power nowI did lose like 900 mana and 80 regen though. But whatever, my outfit matches except for the staff. Hopefully there's one from a quest. Or I have to wait till level 50.

Abandon the quest, and then restart it.
