New jewel farming system, ideas, toughts..what to change and what to keep

In my opinion, the new system for jewel drops is fair for free to play players who cannot afford to buy jewels to upgrade their gears. The jewel gem and the jewel elix drop rate on the boss is pretty decent on the maps.

If players don't have the time to craft the jewels, then they can just instantly get one in the auction (that might cost more) if they are in a hurry to upgrade their gears.

@@ Its actually going to affect the FTP players the most. The Jewel Elix Price/# of jewels will cause players to hemorrhage gold.
If the system isn't tended to by devs soon, within the next few months we may see the price of the jewels skyrocket.

Although this exploit wasn't intended, it worked!
Usually, in video games there is no such thing as a "Good Exploit" but this is an extraordinary case. This system worked and did not negatively affect the economy.

It gave players who did not have Goldloot gears the opportunity to farm elite maps, open the gold runner chests and sell the jewel elixes they received.
Now, the aforementioned players are left high and dry.

In a game as Rich and Diverse as AL that has a plethora of things to do, it would be a shame if there was only one way to make gold (aka farming evg&dm).
