Sort of stupid how there’s some players who I know have been getting 4-5 arcanes within 50-60 runs. Then there’s players who have did 150+ and have not dropped a single arcane.
I know for a fact it’s possible, like I said, people I know, I’ve seen majority of the drops, I was there for most of the runs, it’s very possible but very unlikely of occurring.
If ur initial drop is an arcane and u rerolled, it retains because Arcanes/heroics are of highest rarity.
If ur initial drop is legendary and above, reroll behaviour would roll a second time for a CHANCE for better loot. It either retains ur initial roll (if the reroll doesn't pull a higher rarity), otherwise it jumps to a higher rarity, and yes u can reroll upto arcane/heroic rarity if the lootable avails and if it can be affected by luck.

Heres the most simple explanation
i)If u loot an item from ( common, rare, epic) u reroll into a better loot in that class only it may include same class or higher
eg: rare item rerolls into rare or epic but not common
ii) if u loot from (legendary,mythic,set,vanity) ,
Same process as before
iii) if u loot from( arcane, heroic) u get a different loot from the same class
eg: if u loot arcane u get another arcane from rerolls
Conclusion:
i) rerolls doesnt increase your chance in looting arcanes
ii) it doesnt increase your chance of costlier items like armor as helm ,armor and belt is not "better" loot than the other
eg : you may reroll sunken armor into chas helm
Or you could reroll sunken helm ro abyssal armor
Hope this puts an end to the debate

LOL, so MANY things are WRONG in your explanation:
In case of common, rare, epic you are guaranteed to get better rarity, if the loot table has it. Rare won't reroll into rare.
In case of arcane or heroic in initial roll, there wont be a rerolliii) if u loot from( arcane, heroic) u get a different loot from the same class
eg: if u loot arcane u get another arcane from rerolls
Reroll will not increase the drop rate of arcanes, but it will give you a 2nd try. So it does indeed increase your chance as you are getting 2x pull from loot table, but you may still fail to get arcanes in 2nd try. Conclusion:
i) rerolls doesnt increase your chance in looting arcanes
As the dev said, initial arcane item doesn't rerolleg : you may reroll sunken armor into chas helm
Or you could reroll sunken helm ro abyssal armor

Got an abyssal helm on my 1000th run - sold for 2m.
Wellwhat I understand about reroll is
There r 3 tables let's says
A
B
C
A contain (common, rare, epic)
B contain (legendry, mythic, set, spirit, vanity)
C contain (arcane, heroic)
Now let's say u killed boss and got a loot of tableA but it got reroll so while u had a chance to get an item from A (common, rare, epic) but after reroll u got ur loot from table B ( legendry, mythic ,set, spirit, vanity)
Similarly if u r actually geting loot from table B but got re roll than suppose u was getting mythic from table B than u get set from table B(one step upgraded)
Now for table C.
Re roll do happens in table C but only if ur iñitially geting a loot from table C than it will again get re roll and may get same or diff item from table C only.
Or its like a u throw a dice and got 3 and u got re roll ( means u get another chance to roll dice) now if u get 2 in ur second chance, than u get 3 as it was best result or suppose u get 5 in second chance than u will get 5 as result.
Best result out of 2 will be given as reward.
In case of arcane u got 6 in ur first dice throw....so it do not matter u throw dice twice thrice or whatever cause 6 is max reward u could have ever got.
So re roll won't work on arcane rarity
