question about paid maps

whats so special about paid maps?
are there good loots? higher xp?

They're elite dungeons, they offer a more intense level of gameplay as well as offering certain drops that aren't available on main spine maps. Take shadow caves or sandstone caves for example.

Anyway, ones like croc feud and wyldwood are only there for more quests and different ways to get XP. They're definitely fun to have, but you don't have to get them.

All expansions used to cost platinum, until they decided to give them away for free. So basicly there's no difference. What would be good though is making the new/revamped dungeons for free for those who paid for all the dungeons that are free now.
