    Unhappy How does unmounting works?

Im am having problem downloading the lastest update. While i was searching for the same problems in forum, many people responded to unmount the sd card and download again(PL) to fix the problems. i thought that unmount was to remove the sd card and how to download it(PL) without having a sd card.

So can someone clarify it clearly for me , how does unmounting the sd card works?

    Im using samsung galaxy ace.

    *unmount SD
    *download pl
    * insert ur SD card when it finishes downloading
*Then.u can go to setting, manage applications, then.click on pl and then.move it to ur SD card I hope this helps

    Are you rooted?
I seemed to have some problem with the recent update too. But a fresh reinstall seemed to make everything work properly. Try clearing all your cache.

You can still download apps without a sd card in your phone. The app is just stored in your internal memory(Which is limited), hence the ability to move apps to the sd card.

    HTC Desire btw.
    I actually don't like kimchi.
