I dunno if anyone has thought of doing this already but hey, I wanna see some home screen swag here's mine. Sorry its an attachment I will upload it to photobucket later. Sorry for the bad pic I can't figure out how to delete it and I don't wanna reupload another one.

How do you post an image without having to use a link? I've tried uploading jpg format pictures but it always says, unknown file. Let alone, it just does nothing...

Uploading pictures have never worked for me aswell haha. so I've made a private folder on facebook for all my pl stuff and use the 'link's option when posting pictures, ..also there'll be a checked box that says ..uh..'find pic locally' or something along that line. Uncheck that box and your picture should post up fine.

Yea i actually uploaded my homescreen from my phone using the official space time app. So im not sure about doing this from a browser.

Edit: I have no idea why u cant upload jpegs. I just uploaded a jpeg for the first time from my phone to this website (using my computer) and it worked fine. I clicked go advanced, then I clicked manage attachments, then I used the uploader to upload my jepg, and deleted the previous one, then I clicked done, and it was there...

yep, i can post pictures from my phones tapatalk app fine. just not my desktop.

Oh ahaha some of your iphone themes makes it look just like an android device, especially the first one. Rooting is basicly the same thing as jailbreaking just for android of course, only downside is we dont get free market stuff :-( Since android is open source you can basically delete the entire OS and replace it with a custom one if you wished. We call those new custom OS's roms. I have yet to install one because the need has never arisen, but I might do so soon.

And nice screenshot Arterra I do like the the background image, it's somewhat soothing :-)

Yea I can get free apps, but I don't. I buy all of my stuff. Mainly because dl it outside the app store actually takes a lot longer. It's not like I don't have a job; buying apps music etc. Doesn't bother me. Especially for a game or artist I enjoy

Unfortunately the people who sell you the open sourced phones are not so open minded, and put things lime warranty violations for that. Is the nexus, sold directly from google, better at it?

And at red, agreed. Not to mention that I've seen people lose all their apps before since unless you buy from apple, you don't get a sort of digital receipt and if you lose your data there is no way to get it back, such as accidentally updating and losing the jailbreak.

Yes by rooting you violate your warrenty but most of the time (I would say about 95%) if your phone bricks or anything if you followed the proper recovery steps you can get it all back. Apps downloaded off the internet (for free) are no different than apps obtained from the market (except you can't update them from the market) There is an app called titanium backup that saves all apps and data to your SD card so whenever you use an open sourced OS you can restore them later. The whole process is pretty tireless and easy with little risk if done right.

And I'm not sure what makes the nexus one special. What network does the phone run on? It mint have been designed specifically for developers who don't want the limitations of having an actaul network on their phone.
