Google's Voice app for iPhone was first submitted to Apple for approval in June 2009*. After a reported 16 months in review**, during which time Apple responded to an FCC enquiry***, the app was approved and available to download on the iOS App Store in November 2010****.

I doubt it, I'm hoping it will come out early this week.
Wow! Not if they know what's good for them.. could see some people dropping iPhone for Android if it takes that long to approve (not everyone).
There has been a few threads about this and to sum them up.. sts submitted SL.. found out about Plat.. sts had to resubmit now this may take up to another month or so.. when apple finaly decide on approving it.. /:

This delay has nothing to do with “keeping the Appstore Clean,” it's all about where the money goes for platinum purchases.
Wouldn't they just use the same method that PL uses?
No, the major thing that Apple had a problem with was "universal platinum". Since that has been changed I think Apple is very close to submission.
The more i wait the more i feel like dumping apple all together and picking up a droid. i know I'm not the only one feeling like this, and the real good stuff you can only get after jailbraking your IOS.
So frustrating this dictator like control apple has. Just saying

I think switching to an android has got to be the most impatient thing I've heard on here... I know SL is the "coolest game ever!" (I'm not saying it stinks I think it's dope) but really? Switching android for one thing. iPad is the 95% most used tablet out there.
Think of the other things you have to wait for in life, for example: Waiting the 8 or so months for your kid to be born; Possibly waiting to see if you get rejected to the college you want to go to.
Lots of things to be patient about, I know it's frustrating but find a hobby to do irl like biking or swimming or running or something fun to do while waiting.

Price per unit: 0.0625˘
Android: 89.99 = 2000 plat
Price per unit: 0.0450˘
Doesn't sound like a lot but when you take into account the millions of plat being purchased that 2cents adds up quick!
1,000,000 Million Plat x 2cents extra per unit = $20,000 dollars additional revenue for Apple!
I'm pretty sure u can buy the 2000 plat pack on iOS, but u have to do it on the computer instead of on ur device
