As for class: Ive always been partial to mage. Just seems to be the all around good choice and very versatile.

As for gear: really depends on your budget but I will say there is not alot you cant play with a decent Zaar set. Kraken and the newest gear released not to long ago
(forgot the names) are nice I suppose but for the prices I think their ridiculous.

I have always mix matched gears with the best awakes I can find and I do fine. Obviosly try to buy gear at or as close to your level as possible.

No matter what you buy at least try to buy a really good artifact, braclet & pet they help alot. At least for me.

I recommend playing class u enjoy most. Personally I play warrior to be tanky + i like kraken aegis for mobs

Yeah, mage or tank is my favourite, you can choose any though, doesnt really matter.

It depends on budget, but warrior is the cheapest to become decently strong. Most other classes need kraken weapons, while Warrior can still be strong with Neptaris and machine aegis, which are both cheaper than kraken( though you'd want kraken aegis later as well)
