Visual Bug - Rusk Sword Stats

I am a warrior, and I have a chain sword, but when I use a Rusk Sword I lose 7,000 damage. Could it be a visual effect? The Rusk Sword is supposed to have better stats than the Chain Sword and I still lose too much damage.



Comparing the stats, the Rusk is better than the Chain and that's why it shouldn't lose as much damage.

Logic error. Or maybe the chain sword hit hard but slow. You using beast set?

As Cinco said, the Rusk weapons are not meant to be better than SB weapons, but have a different purpose.
SB Chainsword deal more damage in general so you will have more damage using it, but the Rusk sword has HUGE Area damage, so its more suitable on mob killing.

The refire rate on the Blade is lower. DPS (damage per second) = base damage / refire time.

If weapon A does 100 damage every 2 seconds, that's 50 DPS, but if weapon B does 75 damage every second, that's 75 DPS. You do more damage overall with weapon B, but the damage stat is lower.
