Cool awesome update! I can devote about 1-2 hours daily to this duty. The rest are reserved for pushing to 61 . I'll start practicing now, lol.

This is all i do now give back to the community as a Founder of the game and help or new members enjoy every aspect PL has to offer. I will most deffinatly be applying for the job as soon as possible, unless i am one of the lucky few to be chosen by sts for this responsible role. Thanks again for all these impressive ideas mod7 and the rest of devs cant wait to see this program blossom!
This seems like a great idea.
However there's a bit of advice I want to say.
I've spent some of my time in Forest Haven talking with new players. What I do notice is that most of them are generally quiet and keep to themselves. They will usually just run and then leave. Some just play a bit, log off, and never come back again. Others are a bit violent with their words. I believe that this AoA program should rather be a disguise. To have the best results, I would like to see how new people react to ordinary low levels, not those who are in special costumes.
Good luck with the program. I'm sure it will be successful.
Perhaps later a higher level part could be added.
Guys I just don't think that's the point.
This isn't supposed to be like GoA too much.
The point of this is not the costume or even the special appearance.
It should JUST be a simple level 10 rather talkative character that has some fun going around when they have the urge to help. Just simple as that. I think the costume/special glitter is just here as an incentive.
Yes, was just about to mention that. I don't think any player position should get that honor, as a vanity item that distinguishes you is more than enough. I really like the fact that you are locking the vanity to a Level 10 character though. Why? Sometimes, from experience, wearing a exclusive vanity shield all the time is not the smartest thing in the world when walking into a midst of players. Sure, helping is awesome, but being bombarded with way too many questions that you can't answer singlehandedly isn't.
Coming to my point--
For characters like these? There should be a few stationed in each town and only a certain limit of questions should be allowed to be asked at once. (like a quota). This way it will be organized and players won't be overwhelmed. When they are done assisting, they can hit some sort of "check" button to allow more questions to be answered. A permanent chat bubble over there heads would be a great way to advertise help as well. The vanities could also be used for this.

Agreed whirlzap...
I vote Parth, Rosy, Wound, and basically all my friends to be the first bunch of Amabassadors. They're really awesome O.O
this is gonna be great for helping out new players.
i remember starting when there wasnt really any tutorial at all (founders, *high five*) and it was a little bit confusing on what everything was
↓ STS SUBREDDIT ↑
Reddit / Steam have claimed me and my soul. aka less Spacetime games
Exactly barrington hahaha, it was very confusing!
Yeah, I'm agreeing with Apollo. Again, I like the idea of being "regular."
Remember, these people are the next players of PL. we want to see how they ACT.
From this, we can also pick some new Guardians. Right now, most Guardians are from forums and are at high levels.
Have we ever thought of picking some low levels? No.
I can't speak for others but I certainly have noticed many people acting more respectful when a Dev or GOA is there.
The similar effect will apply with this new vanity thing. Lower levels won't act like they usually do if they see you with sparkly stuff. Other than that, there's nothing else really there for me to say, so have fun with the program.
This sounds exciting.
<(^.^<) <(^.^)> (>^.^)>
I can see how everyone is saying that the special costumes is a negative but it can be a positive. The new players are very quite, i try and talk to them but dont ever get many to talk back.
So what am i getting at? Well with the costumes or vanity they see that and look and ask why you have it or how to get it? It might spark a convo and get more active! Then you can ask many if they are having problems and they might respond more just not blow you off! But thats just one opinion from me.
:/ But then the dominio effect>.>
we has giant mob of low levels asking questions.
I want to have the honor of been one..
