So, in WoW I know their were different level twinks because in bgs you only played players around your level..
What are/are there level caps for different pvp levels in PL?

there isn't really a set level to pvp at, but typically these are the brackets:
5, 10, 12, 13, 15, 16, 17(for some reason..), 19, 20, 21, 22, 23, 26, 30, 32, 35, 41, 45, 47, 50, 55, 56, 60, 61.
anything in between is generally someone who simply wants to be an offset twink, which is fine, i mean, there's nothing wrong with it at all.
Oh okay, so while in a CTF match I, at level 17, could potentially run into a level 61 and get faceroll'd?
Nah, only people +/- 5 levels can join your games
Sometimes I can't stop the shaking, but at least I know I'm not dead.
I think lvl 17s are for overpowering 16s because of rhe better range of gear.Originally Posted by Zerious:531897

So the numbers (levels) mentioned above are milestones for best pvp gear/abilities for their +/-5 range?

Haha I use that quite a lot. In fact its my bio on Xbox Live... Bio: "FaceRoll'D"Originally Posted by adidaman:532331

Not sure if this is the only reason but there is a level 15 and level 17 Jewel Theif's Platinum Talon. The level 17 provides a little more dmg. So outside the slight increase in attribute points and one extra skill point, this is the only reason I can see being a 17 over 16.

Level 17 allows you to use both a 10 plat ring from any stat type and a lvl 15 crafted armor

hmm.... i believe you come short of stat points when using lvl 15 crafted armor and a ring at 15, maybe possible at 16.
fine rings at lvl 10 are 37 of one stat.
assuming sun meant a different attribute-based armor, that would mean another 52 stat points...
a bear is the most common twink so i'll use that as an example.
7 root str
2 root dex
1 root int
attempting to equip "Fine platinum band of bravery"(dex ring req 37 dex) lvl 10 along side a lvl 15 blacksmith's plate (str armor req 52 str)
37+52 = 89 points required total
at level 15 you have 70 attribute points to spend, at 16 you have 75.
(root stats)7+2+(placeable stats)70=79 points total at lvl 15. Not possible.
(root stats)7+2+(placeable stats)75=84 points total at lvl 16. Not possible.
so you'd have to go to 17 for this to work, giving you the 89 points you need EXACTLY.
@Z: Nevermind. I didn't understand what Sun was stating until your explaination.

Yeah, thats what i meant. and of course there's the level 17 version of pink drops. but they only have +2 damage on both ends compared to the lvl 15 versions
