Me and my wife are great friends with many gay people of all sexes, creeds, and colors! Your sexual preference should IMHO have absolutely no effect on the people that care for and love you!

It is irrelevant to a game but this is also a community of many folks. I've seen some rage quit and come back for their friends if nothing else. It's irrelevant I'm bi, buts it's good to know that this can be an open and accepting group of many types of individuals. The game is addictive fun but the community has honestly moved me at times.

online I can't help but feel oppressed if I can't be open about it.
It's just to make it known that gay people do play games like these and we too can kick wome zombie butt lol it's kinda like when a girl plays video games and people hate on them for it...but yesh more than anything it's to make sure we as a community make it a fun environment for ALL types of players.

hey man its okay i understand thats its offensive when people say 'thats so gay' and im straight i always try to tell people when they do that then they call me gay for it but as long as you feel good about yourself forget about the others! good luck man.
I like/respect people for who they are, why should anyone care who someone else finds attractive? Never made any sense to me..
On a side note, as a straight guy, its easy for me to say. But, right or wrong, the expression "thats so gay"just means thats so lame. Id say 99% of the time, it has nothing to do with someones sexual preference. Like I tell everyone bro, dont sweat the small stuff, life is too short!

Isn't this like a conversation for the 90's? These days, no one really cares. I could give a rat's (behind), whether the person I am talking to is attracted to males or females. Few things though:
1) What I DO mind, is the annoying people who make being "Gay" an obvious lifestyle change/way of life. Going around screaming "Im gaaaay *snapsnapsnap*", etc. I don't run around saying "I'm Straaaaight!" So wish these peeps would keep it to themselves... it's nothing special.
2) What I DO mind, is the gay males who "Come out of the closet", and then the next day they are walking with arched backs, swaying hands held up at their chests, and talking like a female. There is absolutely no need to try to ACT gay, which so many people do these days.
3) Someone saying "That is gay", has become something entirely different. 99% of the people who say this, are in no way saying, "Oh my god, that is sooooo like a male who likes other males". So now, gay is inter-changeable between Happy/gleeful, Being attracted to the same sex, and now lame/retarded/stupid. Remember "Gay" does not mean that you like the same sex. It is a word that has gotten attached to these people. You are stealing someones term for being happy. I am sure the creators of the word, don't appreciate you saying "I am gay" when you are not referring to the definition of the word. ;p (Not attacking you, btw. Just counter-arguing). Now if someone says, "Oh my god! That is sooo homosexual", then maybe that's too far.
Point is, Don't put so much weight on words. If someone is using gay in the sense of "Lame" or "stupid", then take it as that. Do not take it as an insult, there is no point in it.
P.S. For some reason I am a magnet for homosexual people. Have had tons of em as friends throughout my life.

ROFLMFAO!! Some of you are talking about the flamboyant type haha!!! I have tons of friends that are like that, I myself am not one. I was raised in a strict Latino family lol so I was expected to act a certain way. And as for the gay being lame thing 99% of the time I, again use it like that too lol, it's when used hatefully that it upsets me. But it was only a "nicer" term I could thing of atm compared to the so many others. Trust me what I meant to put that they've called me would get me banned.
