issues in new release

I've got two problems since the new release.
1. on the offers sections where you can get free platinum the writings is all jumbled.
2. my chat box is fully extended with no way of shortening it which is rather annoying as it covers a lot of the screen.
any ideas?

2. If you click on the very top right of the message board it should shorten itself. I was having the same problem till I found the sweet spot.
