Techno could have REFUNDED the plats (logical option) but instead she gave Exclusive antennas? Seriously, that's the best story you'll can come up with?

About the "elite items", I don't think they require any kind of advertisement. Dragon Vanity didnot get any special treatment, so why these new items gets it. We can read "news post" in game, don't need to advertise them separately.
