3 hours a day isn't a lot, honestly.
I've had to do 10+ hours on multiple occasions.
Most of the adults here are gonna say: We have jobs, we don't study.

Study!
Everyone does study a lot. On saturdays and sundays I study at least 5 hours a day. When I was in grade 9 I study at least 6 hours a day. Some days it goes up to 8.

Never tried studying that long although my mum kept asking me to.. xD
Well, to get good grades at school you have got to study. As I have always said, "You gotta do what you gotta do".
I studied about 0 minutes for every test I ever had (besides finals, and yes, I meant 0), and yet I was in all honors and some aps with decent grades. Go figure
