Why get to 16?

I've hit 15 and am still playing because I enjoy the game, but I find my incentive to grind it out is reduced since there is no vanity awaiting those who hit max level a la PL and SL. Anyone else feel the same? Any news on whether those who hit 16 will get a form of recognition?

Its all up to you at the end of the day. At L16, you can farm pinks for 16's. Personally, capping was just the extra feeling of achievement. Technically L15 is the cap, its just that 16 is the elite cap.

why?

1. you can unlock 15skill.points achievement at lvl16.
2. you get to max out your skills and stats
3. you can wear lvl16 gears
4. you'll hit lvl16 while leveling all your pets, farming kills,farming gears etc.
5. 16 is better than 15.
6. sweet 16

Any word on whether vanity rewards, a la PL and SL, will be added for this cap or for future caps, or will AL not have those?

Very sceptical at the moment. There isn't a vanity slot to start off with, so I think any vanity rewards incorporated into the game will come alot later.

You'll get to 16 without even trying. It's doesn't take long at all.

Why do people always believe it's a necessity to just grind out to cap asap?

How about if you enjoy the game and are going to continue playing but don't want to take the repetitive grind route, being able to gain xp is always a plus. (Knowing all us Lvl 16 are unable to get more xp)

If capped "casually" while enjoying the game you may feel a lot better off for it, not to feel such a grind and still accomplish Elite Cap status. (Title would have been nice, though )

As for Cap Vanity;

PL = 56 Cap onwards

SL = 36 Cap onwards

I wouldn't count on it. There have been an auction space for pets in the PL store for months if not close to a year now and we still can't sell or trade those. We've even had the chance to get pets in game and those can't be traded or given away either.

Good post. At the risk of sounding like I didn't take your message to heart, what were the initial level caps in PL and SL? I'm trying to figure out how many level caps came and went before these elite level rewards began appearing.

SL = 16/21, 26, 31, 36

PL I forget as I only started playing from Nov 2010 (Droid Founder), and cap was high-ish already.

But as a quick heads up, it went up 5 lvls per cap to Lvl 50 (Shadow Caves), then Elite Cap was only added at Lvl 56 onwards (Sewers).

It isnt very hard getting to lvl 16 ...

you can do it without even trying. anyways even if there isnt any vanity, you can still farm for lvl 16 pinks in the "elite zone"

Bit off topic, but yes it is. Kraag can be unlocked by finishing each level in normal mode and defeating the final boss.

I just dont want to see AL become like PL. and I dislike the entitled mentality.

I hit 16 two days after it was released for andriod and that never once crossed my mind.
So my answer is no, I don't feel the same.
