12 plat for extra character (ripoff)

I'm pretty sure you are right, I think you only get plat for the first 10lvls of your first character on a new account. But like I've started before, you can get a lot of plat for free... I think you can get upward of 200 plat without spending a dime, the real play, old navy, gap, and a few others give you lots without spending anything, plus the apps to download and such.

If pets were for the account, then you could use your level 21 pet with your level 1 character, which would mean your pet hits harder than your character. It wouldn't work right, and it would make it too easy especially when pets reach higher levels.

if higher level pet is the problem........ what about ... you keep the pet but they all starts from lv 1 ?
so you need to level them up again, but not spending more money or plat or time to get it again ?

I agree with this, sts could really work in a choice to restrict the pet level to Max of the character lvl.

But keep in mind, if they were to implement this change, it would kill the pet market, the only sub market that seems to be some what stable. Everything (mostly) has a pro and a con.

True. you don't get plat for levling the 2nd toon. You better create a new account get the 10 plat for leveling in that account and use it for 2 respecs or for some elixirs. Right now there is no incentive to buy the 2nd character for 12 plat. As for the gold, you can share gold via trade...so no point in spend 12 plat which make the option to buy the 2nd character a bit silly.

So I bought a extra character instead of making another account once I made the character I was very upset!
-You do not keep the same name
-gold is not the same on both accounts
-pets are not on both accounts
-kills and deaths restart
The only benefit is sharing stash! 12 plat for that? More like 5-10 plat

1. You bought a different toon slot. Why would you have the same name?
2. You can share gold through the stash as Grunt mentioned.
3. Indeed... its a different toon.

The benefit is if you buy platinum you can share it with every toon on the same account. This is THE biggest benefit. You can share stash slots as well. So you only need to buy them once.

STS has to make money somewhere. They aren't gouging us for elixirs in this game. You should be happy with it. So you spend 90 plat on malison. That's 2 1 hour thrashers elixirs in PL. Perspective people

First, it really cumbersome to log into multiple accounts on this game, if you regularly play 3 different characters, as I do, that would be really annoying to have to log completely out of each account every time I wanted to play a new character. Hardly worth saving 24 measly plat.

Secondly, you can't trade plat, so that means having to get X amount of plat for each character. Pass

I think it's funny that people are complaining about such a small amount of platinum
