Newest scam!

Hey everyone! Just wanted to let you know the newest scam that is going around. (Happened to me 3 times today)

Someone will say for example "Selling glowstick 150k buy fast!" (450K in cs)
I saw a good merchant opportunity so I opened trade with him. He said "Add any 3 items, can be trash anything works" I added some holiday greens and purps and hit accept. He said "hold up my inventory is full lemme add some items"

He then very very quickly switched his glowstick for 4 other AO 500g pinks (he made it look like the glowstick was there if you weren't paying close attention.) I hit accept (thinking the gliwstick was still there) and almost went through with it when I noticed and cancelled.

He said "darn almost worked" and logged off.

Yep he's been wandering around balefort most of the day touting his glowsticks. Didn't bother responding ...if an offer looks too good to be true...it usually is

I play runescapezz lawl. But i got lured and killee and dude in RS took my 50k gear. Lol i haz 2.4m though so i didnt care i judt rebought it all xD

It's always runescape with you XD this one was around in diablo 2 as well I got hit by it more than 10 years ago

Now people do it with the Dragon full helm ornament kit (56k) and the fury ornament kit (15m) They actually look pretty similar.

I dont think many of you understand how bad this game could be as far as scamming is concerned if some of the real RS scammers come over. There are scams in runescape that are so clever, you cant really report for it. Im sure theyd find some for PL as well. This game seems to have a younger age group playing as well. I only say this because people are complaining that runescape scams are popping up in PL, just be glad its the noob scams and not the tricky ones.
