Default Does XP Elixir affect Pets?

If I'm leveling up my pets, does having an XP elixir (either the week-long elixir or the shorter one) cause my pets to gain xp quicker?

Maybe a developer can chime in here. Since they don't show the amount of xp needed for pets (maybe they should), I don't know if there's an actual way to figure this out.

Yep it does been tested many times.

Also you can still level a pet while you have XP gain disabled.

Still trying to comprehend how 2k+ can die from Barrels O.o

Well, can you? If your pet still levels with xp disabled, I don't see why not.
